Wir laden zur neuen wöchentlichen digitalen Vortragsreihe auf unserem Facebook-Auftritt ein.
Ab heute möchten wir jedes Wochenende mit einem Vortrag, den wir hier verlinken zur gesellschaftlichen Bildung in vielfältigen Themen beitragen. Die Vorträge sind tagesaktuell, konetextbezogen oder generell gesellschaftsrelevant.
Die Idee hatte unser Praktikant, dem sonntags langweilig ist und neben der Hausarbeit Vorträge hört.
Gerne können wir in den Kommentaren diskutieren oder erleben einzelne Referent_innen real in der „Politischen Runde“ der Bergischen VHS in Wuppertal oder bei „Gegen den Strom“ in Hagen.
Beginnen möchten wir mit einem Vortrag vom Politikwissenschaftler Ismail Küpeli über die Situation in der Türkei und Kurdistan.
Der Anlass ist neben der beängstigenden Situation, über die der Vortrag geht, ein sehr erschreckender: Nachdem Ismail Küpeli von Facebook wegen Meldungen von AKP-Anhänger_innen gesperrt wurde, hat er gestern entschieden wegen der Qualität und der Quantität der Hassbotschaften auf Twitter seine wichtige Arbeit einzustellen, da „jeder Versuch argumentativ gegen zuhalten […] vergebens, weil die Gegenseite schreit, schimpft und immer lauter wird.“ (Küpeli, 10. 2.17) Das Widersprechen und anzeigen von Straftaten ist ihm als Einzelperson zeitlich nicht mehr möglich. Dies ist Ausdruck der aktuellen Situation in der „Postfaktisch“ und „Populismus“ nicht nur Wörter, sondern gesellschaftliche Realität werden, in der kritische Menschen unterdrückt und mundtot gemacht werden - mitten in Deutschland.
Ismail war und wird uns immer ein gern gehörter Referent sein.
